FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP PUBLIC SCHOOLS
Grades Pre-K4 – 5th
All options located at Franklin Park School, 30 Eden St, Franklin Twp, NJ 08823 and are available to students in grades Pre-K4 – 5th attending any of Franklin Township’s public elementary schools.
Before School Care
7:00am – school start | 5 Days/Week
Our Y staff will ensure students are engaged with morning activities including sports, art, and S.T.E.M.
After School Care
School dismissal – 6:00pm | 5 Days/Week
Offered Monday – Friday from school dismissal time (school dismissal times vary) – 6:00 p.m. Our Y staff will ensure students complete daily homework requirements followed by supervised enrichment activities.

Get ready to enjoy the familiar, fun, and exciting summer day camp experience you’ve come to expect from the Y, including:
- An 8-week program that runs for 5 days per week
- For campers entering Kindergarten – 9th grade in September
- Regular camp hours: 9:00am-4:00pm
- Before care hours: 7:00am -9:00am
- After care hours: 4:00pm-6:00pm
- Camp location: Elizabeth Avenue School, 363 Elizabeth Ave, Somerset, NJ 08873
SUMMER CAMP OPTIONS
TRADITIONAL MULTI-ACTIVITY DAY CAMP
- Traditional day camp is for campers entering Kindergarten – 7th grade in September
- Camp SOAR’s popular, traditional multi-activity outdoor camp offers a broad array of activities that engage and entertain campers, including theme days, Mini Golf, Hiking, Pedal Boats, and the Splash Pad!
- Register for one or more weeks
COUNSELOR-IN-TRAINING (CIT)
- Camp SOAR’s signature Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program is for participants entering grades 8-9 in September
- Register for one or more weeks
School’s Out, But The Y Is Always In!
When school is out or closed for holiday breaks, we have you covered with full-day care in a safe, supervised environment where kids can have fun while school is out of session.
Franklin Township YMCA Kids Day Out
(Non-School Vacation Day Care)
Vacation child care is offered for children in grades K-8 from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. daily. Care is offered according to the school calendar, excluding holidays.
