About Plainfield YMCA

Plainfield YMCA is a Y beyond walls serving the Plainfield community. Our Y offers on-site school age child care programs for all elementary schools within the Plainfield Public Schools district. We also provide a partial day Summer Learning Academy wrap-around camp and a full-day multi-activity day camp when summer learning is not in session. Our administrative office is at 950 Park Avenue.

SUMMER CAMP

Welcome to Plainfield YMCA’s Camp RISE

Get ready to enjoy the familiar, fun, and exciting summer day camp experience you’ve come to expect from the Y, including:

  • A 6-week program that runs 5 days per week, Monday, July 1st through Friday, August 9th
  • For campers entering Kindergarten – 5th grade in September 2024
  • Regular camp hours: 8:00am-5:00pm
  • Camp location: Cedarbrook K-5 Center, 1049 Central Ave, Plainfield, NJ 07060

2023 SUMMER CAMP OPTIONS

SUMMER LEARNING ACADEMY WRAP-AROUND CAMP

  • Plainfield YMCA’s wrap-around summer day camp is for campers entering grades K-5 in September at all Plainfield School District elementary schools
  • Offered July 3rd – July 28th at Cedarbrook K-8 Center
  • Monday through Thursday, our traditional multi-activity camp winds up when the district’s Summer Learning Academy winds down. Fridays are a full-day camp schedule.

  • Plainfield YMCA’s all-day multi-activity day camp program is for campers entering grades K-5 in September

  • Register for one or more weeks Monday, July 3rd through Friday, August 11th
