Learn self-defense the right way!

The Self-Defense and Situational Awareness for Women class teaches psychological awareness and verbal skills, not just physical training. Gain the knowledge of situational awareness while learning and practicing basic self-defense techniques, including how to break free from common attack holds. Through learning easy-to-remember moves and practicing in a safe environment, our self-defense programs are designed to improve your awareness, personal safety, and self-confidence. This is a fun way to make new friends, learn an important skill, and be safer. Accessible for all levels.

The lead instructors for this class will be 2 Bernards Township Police Department Officers who are both certified in Defensive Tactics training. The Officers are also specifically certified in women’s self-defense.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to make new friends and learn a crucial skill. Join us at The Y for a safer, more empowered you!
