Basking Ridge, New Jersey, December 20, 2023 – The Somerset County Business Partnership’s Annual Meeting, held annually in December, serves as a pivotal gathering for key figures within the Somerset County business community to celebrate accomplishments and review objectives set for the upcoming year.

On Monday, December 11th, Benjamin Green, District Vice President of Operations, Greater Somerset County YMCA was recognized as one of Somerset County Business Partnership’s Top 40 Professionals, Philanthropists, Entrepreneurs, and Community Leaders under 40. This prestigious accolade acknowledges individuals who have surpassed expectations in their professional roles, family commitments, and community engagement throughout 2023.

The Top 40 Under 40 distinction is awarded based on various criteria, including a demonstrated commitment to business growth, professional excellence, leadership qualities, notable achievements, and significant contributions to the community.

In his role as District Vice President of Operations for Hillsborough, Franklin Township, and Princeton YMCAs, Benjamin Green has spearheaded impactful initiatives, including:

  • Implementation of Franklin Township YMCA’s Safety Around Water Program for second-grade students.
  • Conducting private swim lesson assessments for Muslim females in collaboration with ICNA Relief during Welcoming Week, inclusive of an all-female staff to accommodate and foster inclusivity.
  • Successful completion of the 13th Annual YMCA Kids Triathlon at Hillsborough YMCA Camp Star and Franklin Township YMCA Camp Soar.
  • Championed initiatives focused on preventing chronic diseases and implementing programs dedicated to supporting veterans.

Ben continues to lay the groundwork, ensuring that Greater Somerset County YMCA is positioned to eliminate barriers and provide access to all.
