Bridgewater YMCA’s Aquatics Classes for All Ages
Swim Lessons
Swimming is an important skill that everyone should learn in a safe, fun environment. Our swim lesson programs include Swim Starters to help toddlers get comfortable with being in the water, Swim Basics to teach older kids good swimming habits and water safety, and Swim Strokes to help swimmers of all ages refine their techniques.
Swim Teams
Competitive swimming is a great way for young athletes to improve their skills and stamina. Swimmers age 7-18 can compete during the summer season as part of our Bridgewater Blue Dolphins swim team.
Masters Swimming
Adult swimmers hoping to stay fit and master their stroke technique can have tons of fun in the water with our Masters Swimming program. Whether you want to make new friends as you improve your swimming skills or you’re an aspiring competitive swimmer, this program is a great fit for you.
Family & Open Swim
Bridgewater YMCA has open swim time daily at our family and 10-lane lap pools, so members of all ages can dive in whenever they want to.
Safety Around Water
Our Safety Around Water program helps non-swimmers ages 4-12 become more comfortable in the presence of water and teaches them life-saving safety skills.
Water Exercise
Low-impact workouts in the water allow you to stay active and hone your muscles in an exciting aquatic environment. From Aqua Zumba® to Deep Water Medley, we have a wide variety of water exercise programs available for all ages.
Lifeguard & CPR Training Courses
Lifeguards are a critical part of the aquatic experience at the Y, making sure everyone stays safe as they exercise, practice, and play in our pools. We teach training courses that can help you earn certifications in lifeguarding, CPR/AED, and first aid.
