Attention all aspiring dancers!

We are thrilled to announce the upcoming auditions for our Dance Team.

This is an incredible opportunity for you to showcase your talent and become a part of our dynamic team. Auditions are open to all skill levels!

When:

• Ages 4-8: August 5th from 5 – 7 pm
• Ages 9-12: August 6th from 5 -7 pm
• Ages 13-18: August 7th from 5 – 7 pm

Where: Somerset Hills YMCA

40 Mt Airy Rd, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920

Who: Open to the public

Cost: FREE

TEAMS

Silver

• Pre-team (only for ages 4-6)
• No competition experience is needed
• Dancers will learn 1 dance and compete in all competitions
• Practices are once a week for 1 hour

Gold

• Less than 1 year of competitive experience
• Dancers will learn and compete in 2 small groups, and the team production number
• Styles will include jazz and lyrical
• Practices are once a week for 90 minute

Platinum

• 1-2 years of competition experience is required
• Dancers will learn and compete in 3 small groups and the team production number
• Styles will include jazz, lyrical, and hip hop
• Practices are twice a week for a total of 5 hours

Diamond

• 2-3 years of competition experience is required
• Dancers will learn and compete 3 small groups and the team production number
• Styles will include jazz, lyrical, and hip hop
• Diamond Team is recommended to take additional ballet classes during the week
• Practices are twice a week for a total of 5 hours

Titanium

• 3-4 years of competition experience is required
• This is our advanced-level team
• This team will learn and compete 3 small groups and the team production number
• Styles will include jazz, lyrical, and hip hop
• Titanium Team is required to take additional ballet classes during the week
• Practices are twice a week for a total of 6 hours

Acrobatic Dance Team

• Combines the love of dance and acrobatics together.
• Participants must have tumbling and dance experience
• This team will learn and compete in 1 small group as well as the team production number.
• Dance team practices are 2.5 hours long.
