Child Care Programs at Somerset Hills YMCA

At Somerset Hills YMCA, we believe every child has potential, and our child care programs are designed to help them discover it. We provide a safe, supportive environment where children can learn, grow, and have fun beyond the school day. Through age-appropriate, structured experiences, children build social and learning skills while being guided by the YMCA’s core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.

Our Child Care Programs at Somerset Hills YMCA

School Age Child Care

In partnership with local school districts, Somerset Hills YMCA offers before and after school care programs for kids to continue their learning in a structured environment. Students in both the Somerset Hills and Bedminster Township school districts may be eligible to participate in this school-age child care program. Hours and before and after school offerings vary by school, so we encourage families to connect with our staff to confirm availability and determine the best fit before enrolling.

Daycare & Early Education

Our Early Education Center offers a safe, nurturing environment for infants as young as six weeks through children age five. Our experienced early childhood educators use The Creative Curriculum to support learning across literacy, math, science, social studies, the arts, and technology. Through hands-on exploration and peer interaction, children build social skills, confidence, and a love of learning while engaging with topics that spark their curiosity.

Kids Corner Babysitting

If you’re a member at Somerset Hills YMCA, you can drop off your children at our Kids Corner while you exercise and focus on your own wellness. These babysitting services are offered in the morning from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday – Saturday and from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the evening Monday – Friday. Services are complimentary for all Family Membership levels and just $5 for all other membership types.
