Somerset Hills YMCA Celebrated Diversity & Togetherness
Somerset Hills YMCA held their second annual Diwali Celebration on Friday, November 15, 2024. Nearly 50 community members enjoyed food, mandala coloring, mehndi and rangoli art.
The highlight of the evening was a Bollywood dance performance featuring Ms. Gayathri, who teaches the new Bollywood Fusion class which has only been running for two weeks. Despite their minimal instruction to date, Gayathri’s students were able to deliver show stopping performances.
This free event was organized by Gabi St. Fleur, Senior Youth Development Director. St. Fleur shared, “The turnout was great and it was thrilling to showcase the diversity and culture at Somerset Hills YMCA.”
