Achievers is a college and career preparation program to motivate youth and teens by giving them the support and resources to pursue and achieve their personal, academic, and career goals.

WHAT DO WE DO?

  • Provide weekly one hour meetings focused on group discussions (college applications & admissions, testing, financial aid, scholarships, and college life)
  • Internship opportunities with college and business partners
  • Local college and business tours are provided in the Fall, Winter, and Summer
  • Guest speakers providing insight and motivation into career field of interest
  • Career workshops focused on job resumes, interview skills, financial literacy, time management, and organizational skills
  • Scholarships are available from a grant and are eligible to senior students who complete the curriculum
