Princeton YMCA Young Achievers Display Art in Gallery Exhibition
Princeton YMCA Young Achievers had their art displayed at the opening reception for the exhibit “All Shapes, Colors, and Forms” on July 13 at the Arts Council of Princeton, showcasing a vibrant collaboration between the YMCA’s Princeton Young Achievers and the Arts Council of Princeton with incredible works by students from Princeton Public Schools.
The exhibit features stunning paper-mâché sculptures, ceramics, blue-hued cyanotype prints, and Frida Kahlo-inspired portraits, all created by talented students from kindergarten through fifth grade. Curated by the dedicated teaching artist Veronica Olivares-Weber!
Princeton Young Achievers (PYA) is a unique afterschool program that helps children from low-to-moderate income neighborhoods by providing homework help and academic enrichment.
