Somerville YMCA New Classes:

Spin:

Spinning® is a class that focuses on endurance, strength, intervals with high intensity, and recovery using a special stationary exercise bicycle with a weighted flywheel in a classroom setting.   Designed for all ages and fitness levels, you’ll climb, sprint, and train to incredible music. Spin® is the perfect way to get your heart pumping while you burn some serious calories! Arriving 15 minutes before class is recommended, especially if you are new to Spin and/or need help with bike set-up. For the safety and enjoyment of all, there is no admittance once class has started.

Intensity Level: Moderate 

What to Bring: Towel, Water 

When: Sunday the 25th, 8:45-9:30am & Tuesday the 27th 7:30-8:15pm

Balance, Stretch & Meditate:

Take a little time out for yourself and unwind Balance, Stretch & Meditate!

In this class, you will be guided through balance exercises, stretching, and meditation, positioning your body into its correct alignment and settle into quiet and stillness after a busy day.

No experience needed, appropriate for all abilities.

Intensity Level: Moderate 

What to Bring: Towel, Water 

When: Monday the 26th, 7-8 pm
